According to Mau, 
The shop at 16 that was linked with the atrium by a doorway without shutters, was quite coarse. 
It had a floor of opus Signinum, in which was embedded towards the door, a slab of marble with square hole to put the beam used to close the door in.  
The walls as high as 1.50m were covered with plaster coloured as flesh, with white above.
On the lower part of the entrance wall, to the right of where one entered, one saw some boats roughly painted in red, on the right wall was a painted peacock.
