V.2.4 Pompeii.  Several terracotta grondaia on a shelf in peristyle, room 13.  These are spouted rainwater gutters, usually part of the Compluvium in the roof.  Rain falling on the roof went through the spouts to fall into the impluvium basin below.

According to Gusman, this picture was in a very bad state of preservation.
It showed a naked woman dancing before the guests to the sound of flutes played by tibicines seated on the floor.
Wine flowed freely, and one of the guests claps his hands.
