A wall painting of Poseidon (or Neptune) extending his hand to Amymone was found in the centre of the south wall. Now vanished. 
Also found was a painting of Pan and a nymph.

According to Helbig, a wall painting of Ariadne abandoned by Theseus was found on the north wall, in this room. Also found were two painted Bacchanites. See Helbig, W., 1868. Wandgemälde der vom Vesuv verschütteten Städte Campaniens. Leipzig: Breitkopf und Härtel. (1220 and 495)

The original floor was of cocciopesto with scattered large white tesserae.

The central panel has a painting of two female bacchantes.

One sits on a stone seat, with a tympanon in one hand and a pointed amphora in the other.

One is standing and is holding a painting, which she is showing to the other.
