VI.15.8 Pompeii. May 2010. Looking towards east wall of cubiculum with window onto Vicolo dei Vettii. According to NdS, this room had been covered by a barrel-vaulted ceiling and had a recess for a bed. The walls were decorated with a white background, and had a stucco cornice which ran around the walls at a height of approximately 2m from the floor. See Notizie degli Scavi, January 1897, p.34.

According to NdS, this room had been covered by a barrel-vaulted ceiling and had a recess for a bed.

The walls were decorated with a white background and had a stucco cornice which ran around the walls at a height of approximately 2m from the floor.
