Linked to VI.16.15 and VI.16.17. Excavated 1903.

 

VI.16.16 Pompeii. May 2005. Looking west to entrance, with remains of masonry bench on the left. According to NdS, this entrance led into room N of VI.16.15. Room N was a rustic room with white plaster and a high dado (mattone pesto), with a small window in its west wall. It contained the steps to the upper floor. See Notizie degli Scavi di Antichità, 1908, (p.83)

According to NdS, this entrance led into room N of VI.16.15.

It contained the steps to the upper floor.
